Afrosiyob Palace | From the Past to the Present
Samarkand, Uzbekistan | Hotel Pre-Opening & F&B Consultancy
About Project
Afrosiyob Palace, one of Samarkand’s long-established hotels, is preparing for a new era through a comprehensive renovation and restructuring process, while preserving the values rooted in its history.
Spanning an area of approximately 52 decares, the project—comprising 276 rooms and private suites, diverse restaurant and bar concepts, event spaces, and the Emir Timur Museum—features a comprehensive structure that integrates accommodation and gastronomy operations into a unified whole.
Consulting & Operations
In this role as Executive Chef & Hospitality Consultant, I combine my culinary expertise with an operational perspective to provide on-site consultancy services covering professional kitchen planning, F&B structuring, the development of restaurant and bar concepts, equipment selection and layout, service and production workflows, team organization, and the establishment of operational standards.
Pre-Opening Process
My primary objective during the pre-opening phase is to ensure that the entire F&B operation—from the kitchen to service—functions within a sound system, to strengthen inter-departmental coordination, and to contribute to establishing a sustainable operational structure for the post-opening period.
The project is moving forward through the investor's vision and the collaborative efforts, coordination, and teamwork of the architectural, technical, and operational teams. While pre-opening preparations are underway, the target is to open the hotel for service in March. As the project progresses, I will continue to share updates on completed areas, along with new photos and videos, on this page.
Drawing strength from the rich heritage of Afrosiyob Palace, we are building the future of hospitality today.
